Come to the north Georgia mountains to spend the spring, summer, or fall.
Escape the heat of the Florida summers with the higher elevations, we are often cooler than many northern states.
During the spring, the trees are brilliant green with new growth. The Rhododendrons are blooming and the mountain streams are flowing. Hiking is excellent with many chances to see beautiful flowing waterfalls. We are close to the Appalachian Trail, and Vogel State Park is just 3 miles away.
The altitude here in the mountains brings warm days and cooler nights during the summer months.
It's perfect weather for daytime hikes, river kayaking or rafting, zip-lining, trout fishing, or just sightseeing.
Fall brings beautiful fall foliage on the trees with shades of reds, golds, orange and yellow. The temperature is noticeably cooler.
We are in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just minutes away from the North Carolina and Tennessee border.
The Rv lot is in a quiet RV park with 117 privately owned lots.
The Rv site has a large 33 x 72 foot concrete pad. There is a storage shed on the lot but it is not available for use, as we keep our "treasures" in it.
The elevation is about 1800 feet, but the campground is off of a main road with easy access for even the largest rigs.

Rivers Edge Rv Park in Blairsville Georgia - Fall foliage
We took a drive yesterday to check out all the beautiful fall foliage.
Although the colors aren't as vibrant as in years past (due to a lot of rain), it is still beautiful.
